The Kent Police Department is hiring new and experienced Police Officers.

Benefits:


Starting pay is $83,288 – $108,884 (depending on experience)

*average non-ranking officer earned over $128,000 in 2021

Experienced officers are eligible to start at higher pay steps and transfer up to 400 hours of leave.

Starting leave is over 400 hours accrued yearly.

Experienced Officers receive up to a $25,000 signing bonus (depending on experience)

4% bonus for Associate's Degree

6% bonus for Bachelor's Degree

3% bonus for Foreign Language Fluency
